LNS20A-Lite, a premium liquid nitrogen generator from Scala, is a fully integrated system engineered to provide an efficient and reliable on-site liquid nitrogen supply. Its all-in-one design incorporates a built-in oil-free air compressor, a Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) nitrogen generator, a Gifford-McMahon (GM) cryocooler, and a 50-liter vacuum-insulated dewar.
The system generates high-purity nitrogen gas (99.5–99.99%) through the PSA process, which is then liquefied by a GM cryocooler mounted directly on the dewar. Unlike conventional liquefaction systems, this innovative configuration eliminates nitrogen venting during operation, significantly reducing nitrogen losses and energy consumption. The compact integrated design minimizes installation space requirements while enhancing operational safety and reliability, making the LNS20A-Lite an ideal solution for laboratories, research institutions, and industrial users requiring a dependable on-site source of liquid nitrogen.

Proven GM Cryocooler Technology
As the only cryogenic refrigeration technology to achieve large-scale commercial adoption, the GM cold head is directly mounted on the 50-liter vacuum-insulated dewar, enabling nitrogen gas to be liquefied within the vessel without external transfer lines. This innovative configuration eliminates pipe frosting and cold gas venting, while improving operational safety, system reliability, and ease of use in laboratory environments.

HMI + Stop Valve for Safety Dispensing
The LNS20A-LITE enables safe and uninterrupted liquid nitrogen dispensing without stopping production or pressurizing the building, ensuring maximum operational convenience through an intuitive HMI interface combined with a manual stop valve for controlled safety release.
It features a two-step dispensing mechanism for enhanced safety: users must first unlock dispensing via the touchscreen HMI, and then manually operate the stop valve to initiate flow. Dispensing time can be preset through the control system, with automatic shutoff for precise, safe, and flexible LN₂ withdrawal.
SIMICAS® Remote Device O&M Platform
Powered by the SIMICAS® Remote O&M Platform, the LNS20A-Lite delivers smart, connected operation with real-time monitoring, fault alerts, historical data analysis, and remote technical support. By enabling predictive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting, SIMICAS® helps ensure maximum system availability and lower lifecycle operating costs.
