In August 2024, Scala delivered an LNS10A 10-liter/day Liquid Nitrogen Generator to the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (CIMH) in Barbados (see news link: https://www.scalacryo.com/n1900780/.htm). Over the past year, it has been running continuously and reliably, providing essential cryogenic support for the institute's core research in climate forecasting and atmospheric sciences. As the premier meteorological and hydrological research institution in the Caribbean region, CIMH coordinates scientific collaboration and offers technical support for 16 Commonwealth member states, with its research directly influencing regional climate resilience strategies and disaster risk management decisions.
Notably, leveraging the innovative modular design of the LNS10A, CIMH technical personnel, under Scala's remote guidance, independently completed maintenance tasks of chiller water replacement and filtration system servicing. "Maintenance can be performed by customers selves, significantly reducing management costs." This dual advantage of "high reliability and ease of maintenance" was the key factor in securing the government order.

Enhanced Safety Performance: Incorporated a new anti-freeze manual valve design to effectively mitigate low-temperature operational risks, complying with the requirements for use in the hot and humid environments of the Caribbean region;
Durability Enhancement: Upgraded vacuum hose to further improve the equipment's resistance to aging in high-humidity conditions.
