Detail Information
The Pride KDE420SA is a high-capacity two-stage Gifford-McMahon (GM) cryocooler designed for applications requiring temperatures down to 4 K. It provides 2.0 W of cooling capacity at 4.2 K and 20 W at 50 K, making it suitable for superconducting devices, cryopumps, cryostats, quantum technology research, and helium recondensation systems. The cryocooler reaches 4.2 K in less than 60 minutes and is driven by the KDC6000 helium compressor.
Featuring a robust and proven GM refrigeration cycle, the KDE420SA offers high reliability, long service life, and stable continuous operation. The cold head is water-cooled and connected to the compressor through flexible helium lines, allowing easy integration into laboratory and industrial cryogenic systems. The cold head requires scheduled maintenance every 15,000 operating hours to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Cooling capacity is rated at 20 W @ 50 K on the first stage and 2.0 W @ 4.2 K on the second stage.
