Scala Delivers 50L/Day LN2 Generator to State Laboratory in Tarim University in Xinjiang

The delivery took place at the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Key Laboratory for Conservation and Utilization of Biological Resources in the Tarim Basin, located within Tarim University. Established in June 2004 under the auspices of Tarim University, the laboratory has long been dedicated to research aimed at improving the ecological environment of the Tarim Basin and promoting the sustainable development of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fisheries in Southern Xinjiang. It has undertaken numerous National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, providing vital technological and talent support for regional ecological conservation and economic development. In July 2024, the laboratory was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology for restructuring into a National Key Laboratory, placing higher demands on the reliability and advancement of its research equipment.

The NMR spectrometer is an indispensable large-scale precision analytical instrument in modern biology, chemistry, materials science, and other fields. The stable operation of its superconducting magnet is highly dependent on a continuous supply of liquid nitrogen. The introduction of this efficient liquid nitrogen generator aims to enhance the laboratory's self-reliant operational support for its critical equipment, reduce dependence on external liquid nitrogen delivery, and ensure the continuity and stability of vital research activities.

Hangzhou Scala is a leading global manufacturer of liquid nitrogen generators based on GM cryocooler technology. Its product line covers models with daily production capacities ranging from 10 liters to 300 liters, meeting the on-site liquid nitrogen needs of laboratories of various scales. The delivered LNS50W model is Scala's first integrated liquid nitrogen generator capable of achieving a production rate of 50 liters per day. This model integrates efficient refrigeration with a precise control system and includes a built-in 100-liter storage dewar. To ensure the smooth commissioning of the equipment, Hangzhou Scala dispatched two senior technical specialists to Tarim University to conduct on-site installation, debugging, and operational training. After rigorous testing, all operational parameters of the equipment performed excellently, fully meeting the delivery standards. The professor in charge of the laboratory expressed high satisfaction with the equipment's efficiency, stability, and user-friendliness upon acceptance, stating that its excellent performance will strongly support subsequent in-depth research projects focused on the unique biological resources of the Tarim Basin.
